Role OverviewThe Ohio Emergency Management Agency is the state's central point of coordination for response to and recovery from disasters. The Electronic Radiation Instrument Technician 1 assists in the repair, service, and calibration of electronic radiation detection and monitoring equipment.
What You Will Do
Assists in the repair, service, and non-NVLAP accredited calibration of electronic radiation detection and monitoring equipment; performs electronic radiation detection and monitoring equipment maintenance and repair; keeps records of the field exchange and inspection of state-owned radiological equipment; attends special equipment training as needed.

Requirements
- 30 mos. exp. in electronics
- valid driver's license
- completion of associate core program in electronics, electronics engineering or electrical/electronic engineering
- 6 mos. exp. in electronics
- equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment
