Role Overview

The Electronic Technician II installs, tests, and troubleshoots security system sub-level components, including patch panels and junction boxes, on large or complex projects, and supports head-end equipment on smaller or less complex installations.

What You Will Do

Perform field verification testing, read and interpret blueprints and schematics, prepare and install cable pathways, test cable continuity, terminate electrical and data connections, and troubleshoot system issues.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in electronic systems installation and troubleshooting, a high school diploma, and active Secret Security Clearance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in non-residential electronic systems installation and troubleshooting
  • A high school diploma and graduation from a U.S. Navy or U.S. Air Force Electronics Training Program with a minimum of 720 classroom hours
  • Graduation from an accredited Electronic Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship Program
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience with an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electronics from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required
