Job Description
Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of highly sophisticated instrumentation and remote data acquisition telemetry. Performs installation, repair, maintenance, and routine calibration of instrumentation and controls used in water/wastewater treatment and flow measurement, including telemetry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 60 college credit hours preferred or equivalent technical education.
  • Associates Degree in electronics or completion of a two-year trade school preferred.
  • Four years of related experience in the repair and maintenance of sophisticated electronic equipment preferred.
  • Valid Texas driver's license.
  • State of Texas Journeyman electrical license preferred.
  • Current Class II Collection System or Class C or Operator license (Class C Water Operator license for water plant) as issued by the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality or the ability to obtain one within two years from date of hire.
