Role OverviewAs a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will design and develop Navy-focused Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) that supports fleet-ready training aligned to NAVEDTRA standards. You will collaborate with highly skilled delivery teams made up of ISDs, Software Engineers, 3D Artists, Graphic Designers, and Technical Leads to analyze, design, develop, test, and deliver Navy training products.
What You Will Do
Conduct front-end analysis, develop learning objectives, storyboards, scripts, branching scenarios, assessments, and IMI design specifications following NAVEDTRA guidelines. Transform complex technical information into clear, instructionally sound digital learning content.

Requirements
- Associate’s Degree
- Understanding of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, task-based analysis, scenario-based learning)
- Ability to interpret and apply NAVEDTRA standards and Navy training system requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear instructional strategies
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement instructional content
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Security Clearance
