Job Description
Avidyne's Electronics Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and reliability of Avidyne’s sophisticated avionics equipment used in various aircraft. Primary duties involve meticulous inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced avionics, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.

Requirements

  • Applied ability to tune, test, troubleshoot, and repair analog and digital circuit boards to component level.
  • Applied ability using standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, pulse generators, and logic analyzers, as well as solder.
  • General ability to diagnose trends and reliability issues, as well as provide detailed analyses.
  • Applied ability reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Physical dexterity and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Applied ability and willingness to mentor others and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to successfully identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Ability to maintain a positive outlook with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed.
  • Ability to pass a written technician test.
