Role OverviewThis position is 100 percent travel throughout the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Service area. All travel expenses are paid. Full benefits offered. The Electronics Technician will perform tasks such as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment, and taking test readings using common instruments.
What You Will Do
Assists with site preparation work for voice switches at Enroute Centers and Terminal TRACONs, assists with Fiber Optics Terminal System (FOTS) installation at various sites throughout the USA, and removes and repairs or replaces components, wires, wire bundles, terminal blocks, and/or connectors.

0+ years’ experience with testing, repairing, troubleshooting, and installation of Fiber Optics, other Radio Control Systems (RCE) and other complex electronics equipment, may require repetitive movement such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing, and must be able to meet customer security requirements.
