Electronics Tester R20 – ISF (OP3)

The Electronics Tester R20 – ISF (OP3) position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation’s fundamental defense services. The position involves setting up, troubleshooting, and testing simple and complex electronic devices and systems.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will set up workstations and related materials, including complex test equipment, troubleshoot, and record data. They will also operate various computer programs related to their position for time recording, access to shop planning, and business instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Minimum of 2 years of testing of electrical / electronics and associated measurement equipment or equivalent technical training in electronics or electrical systems is required
• Ability to operate various computer programs related to their position for time recording, access to shop planning, and business instructions
• Knowledge of MS Windows required
• Ability to read, interpret, and work to drawings, schematics, wiring lists, and diagrams, work instructions, sketches, travelers, planning, OD’s, and verbal directions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute ratios, percent, and interpret graphs
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively with other employees of the organization
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to question instructions when they are unclear
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance required
• Visual acuity and color perception tests
