Role OverviewAs an Elementary Instruct Aide, you will assist in the general supervision and management of children, allowing teachers to focus on educational needs. You will work individually or in small groups with students, review classroom instruction, and perform clerical tasks. You will also supervise outside playground activities, help with general housekeeping, and assist the teacher in other ways.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include assisting in the implementation of the daily program, planning and preparing the learning environment, working with students to review classroom instruction, and supervising outside playground activities. You will also perform clerical tasks, treat all children with dignity and respect, and follow directions given by the head teacher or immediate supervisor.

Requirements
- High School degree, GED, or equivalent experience
- Speak, read, and write English fluently
- Successful results of criminal and employment background check
- Experience in working with children, preferably children with disabilities
- Be in the process of becoming professionally prepared to supervise young children
