Role OverviewThis position provides support to students needing additional assistance in meeting academic standards, through small group, individual and co-instructional methods. The Elementary Interventionist will work collaboratively with teaching faculty to identify students who are below standards in specific skills and knowledge, and provide 're-teaching' and tutoring sessions around core instruction.
What You Will Do
The Elementary Interventionist will assist students with assignments, monitor individual and/or groups of students, and maintain a record of interventions and progress monitoring. They will also implement instructional programs and lesson plans, and attend meetings and in-service presentations.

The successful candidate will have an Associate degree with some training/exposure to education and teaching, and the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
