Role OverviewThe Mathematics Coach will provide personalized support to individual teachers, fostering their growth and development. They will work collaboratively, analyze data, and engage in peer coaching to support teachers in establishing a positive classroom culture, implementing instructional strategies, and differentiating instruction.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include providing strategic content-focused mentoring, supporting teachers in developing skills in critical areas, and working collaboratively with teachers to analyze data and examine needs related to professional practice.

Requirements
- Earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an educational field or mathematics
- Valid Florida Teacher's Certificate in Elementary Education and/or Secondary Mathematics
- Minimum five years of related teaching experience in subject area and/or level within the last eight years
- Complete Broward County Public Schools' Instructional Coach Development and Credentialing Program within two years of assignment
- Progressively more responsible professional educational experience with at least two years of experience in teacher leadership roles
