Role OverviewThe Elementary Teacher - 4/5 Social Studies will work from home or the office in Columbus, Ohio, to support and motivate students in grades K-12 through the Pearson Online Classroom. The teacher will deliver synchronous instruction, provide intervention and enrichment, and use data to diagnose student learning needs. The teacher will also communicate with parents, students, and other teachers to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the Elementary Teacher - 4/5 Social Studies include providing clear, constructive, and consistent feedback for all student work, creating progress reports, and conducting parent conferences in a timely manner. The teacher will also communicate with parents, students, and other teachers to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules, score assessments, and provide feedback on student work.

Requirements
- Valid K-5, 1-8, or 4-9th grade teaching credential in Ohio
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
