Role OverviewUT Southwestern is seeking an experienced Elevator Maintenance Mechanic to join their Elevator Shop team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of work experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair of commercial elevators, preferably within healthcare, academic, or research institution environments.
What You Will Do
As an Elevator Maintenance Mechanic, you'll perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on commercial elevators, troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and assist in ensuring machinery conforms to building safety codes and equipment safety regulations.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent or vocational school
- 3 years experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair of elevators
- Licenses and Certifications: (DRIVERS) DRIVERS LICENSE
- Preferred: Licenses and Certifications: Certified Elevator Tech (CET) Certificate or International Union Elevator Certification (IUEC) Mechanic Card or Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI)
