Role OverviewThis is a professional position assigned to the Office of Economic Self-Sufficiency. The position provides back-up to the unit's supervisor in day-to-day duties, including reviewing cases, performing case reviews, and providing training and/or mentoring to unit members. The Eligibility Specialist II is expected to handle a high volume of work, which is deadline driven, requiring the ability to prioritize and plan work assignments while being flexible to change with little notice.
What You Will Do
Performs quality management system reviews, reviews case reading errors, and analyzes data from quality control and monitoring sources. Maintains assigned work responsibilities, including tracking medical expenses, changes, sanctions, data exchange, alerts, and Medicaid file resolution. Identifies cases of possible fraud and/or overpayment and makes referrals to fraud and overpayment departments.
