Role Overview

The Eligibility Specialist communicates with clients to collect required information and materials to conduct application process online, by phone, and in person as needed. Provides information and referrals to clients as appropriate. Works in a fast-paced environment and adheres to deadlines.

Collects required information and materials from clients, conducts application processes online, by phone, and in person, and provides information and referrals to clients.

Requirements

  • Three years’ clerical/office experience
  • Accurate keyboarding and math skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to write legibly and spell accurately
  • Valid driver’s license and use of a vehicle insured to State of Maine requirements
  • Pass State Bureau of Investigation, Department of Motor Vehicle, Department of Health and Human Services, Sex Offender Registry, and Fraud background checks
