Job Description
The Department of Social Services is hiring an Eligibility Verification Specialist to review and analyze Cash Assistance case records and determine which cases qualify for State and Federal funding.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
  • One year of experience in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of government policies and procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
