Embedded Software Engineer

This Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of Turion’s Flight Software testing framework / tools, strategy, and procedures. They will design and write tests, which rigorously exercise the software system under test, helping to catch and fix bugs early and often. They will engage with flight software developers and operators to support qualifying our software for flight.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain a testing framework for the automated testing of the spacecraft software in HITL and SITL environments. Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements, needs, and specifications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in embedded software or test development
• Experience using C/C++ for an embedded system
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues effectively with little to no supervision.
• Experience writing automated software tests for HITL/SITL environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
