Role OverviewThis position supports the Detect Application group within a Fortune 100 client's Robotics division. The Embedded Software Engineer will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate, and test software features on embedded electronic controls used in safety detect machine applications.
What You Will Do
Typical task breakdown includes systems requirements decomposition, design, development, reviews, integration, and test. This role is part of a 12–14 person global team, with regular design reviews and daily stand-ups.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 6–7 years of relevant experience
- Strong coding ability
- Strong software design analysis
- Capable of expressing positions without confrontation
- Git, debuggers, and compilers
- C Test and G Test suites
- System-level feature design and specification
- Datalinks (CAN, Ethernet, etc.)
- Concise writing style
- Strong communication skills
