Job Description
Embryologist II performs basic technical/clinical and research duties in the embryology laboratory, assisting with advanced duties and interacting with the research and ancillary components of the IVF program.

Requirements

  • Conducts basic Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) laboratory procedures
  • Conducts serum/media preparation with accuracy
  • Conducts sperm preparation to remove dead sperm and purify samples
  • Performs egg retrievals and cumulus removal
  • Performs conventional and ICSI inseminations
  • Completes fertilization checks
  • Successfully performs embryo grading and warming and transfers
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation
  • Complies with regulations and laws for human ART
  • Meticulously follows laboratory standard operating procedures
