Role OverviewThe Emergency Department Paramedic, PRN will work independently to activate patient care protocols and deliver patient care within the Tennessee paramedic scope of practice. This role will be responsible for triage care in the field and the Emergency Department, as well as effective communication to ensure safe and quality patient care.
What You Will Do
The Paramedic will actively participate with other members of the healthcare team to provide direct patient care, transport patients via various modes of transportation, and respond to emergency requests within Vanderbilt sponsored or other contracted events.

This role requires a Paramedic with certifications and relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work independently with some discretion and research to solve routine problems.
