Role OverviewThe ED Tech provides direct patient care under the guidance of a RN or designated healthcare professional in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and within policies, procedures, and guidelines of Bon Secours Mercy Health.
What You Will Do
Provides basic patient care and tasks, completes patient rounding, provides 1:1 patient safety companion service, and participates in handoff report of pertinent information regarding patient and departmental needs.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire)
- Current certification for Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Medical Assisting (preferred)
- Previous experience working as a Patient Care Tech, within a nursing support role or previous healthcare experience or second year nursing student from a Registered Nurse (RN) program (preferred)
