Role OverviewThe Emergency Department Technician provides patient care within a defined scope of practice, including patient assessment, monitoring, and treatment. They work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and technical staff to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires flexibility, effective communication, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include assessing patients, providing patient care, monitoring and observation, specified treatments and procedures, and transporting patients safely. The technician will also assist in providing patient education and accessing hospital and Emergency Department information systems.
