Job Description
The Emergency Management Specialist II is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with Texas A&M University's emergency management program requirements at the Galveston campus. This position coordinates with the campus leadership and other stakeholders across all phases of emergency management to ensure a safe environment for all employees and visitors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Four years of experience in emergency management
  • Class 'C' vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Completed FEMA courses: NIMS 700, 800, 100, 200, 300 and 400
