Role OverviewHorizon Veterinary Specialists is a rapidly growing, fast-paced emergency and specialty hospital located in Ventura, California. The emergency and critical care team provides services 24/7 to small animal patients of Ventura and the surrounding counties.
What You Will Do
The veterinarian in this position must possess excellent communication skills, approaching each patient and client with kindness and understanding, sensitive to the vast variety of situations that an emergency veterinarian encounters.

Requirements
- DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in California.
- Previous experience in emergency or critical care preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.
