Role OverviewEmergency Pet Care is an after-hours emergency veterinary hospital serving Trussville, Birmingham, and the surrounding communities. We exist for one purpose: to provide immediate, expert care when pets are facing life-threatening emergencies.
What You Will Do
Manage emergencies, provide responsive, compassionate care backed by medical expertise and modern tools, and work in a clinical environment built specifically for urgent cases.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in emergency or general practice and be comfortable working independently with support.
Requirements
- DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Active veterinary license in AL
- Previous experience in emergency or critical care is preferred but not required
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a commitment to continuous learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- A passion for providing exceptional care and improving patient outcomes
