Employment Consultant

As an Employment Consultant at Vadis, you will help community partners become more inclusive by assisting individuals with disabilities in finding meaningful employment opportunities. You will work with supportive co-workers and passionate leadership to grow and advance. You will collaborate with business, school districts, state partners, and other agencies to further Vadis' mission.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include excellent customer service, facilitating referral meetings, person-centered planning, and assistance with work readiness, social, and self-advocacy skills. You will also develop relationships with the business community to secure jobs for people with disabilities and facilitate client job starts.

Requirements

• Ability and desire to work respectfully with people with disabilities
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals from a variety of backgrounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Personal use of a vehicle, with proper insurance coverage
• Driver's license with favorable driving record
• Ability to pass initial and ongoing criminal background checks
