Role Overview

Join a leading Am Law firm's Employment & Labor practice in Boston as an Employment & Labor Associate Attorney. This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate with 3–5 years of experience providing sophisticated employment counseling to employers.

What You Will Do

Advise employers on a broad range of employment and labor matters, including statutory and regulatory compliance, executive employment agreements, separation and severance agreements, and employment-related policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced practice advising clients on a broad range of employment matters, with opportunities to handle sophisticated transactional and counseling work. Litigation experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • 3–5 years of broad employment and labor experience
  • Significant experience with employment counseling
  • Experience advising clients regarding statutory and regulatory compliance
  • Experience drafting and negotiating executive employment and separation agreements
  • Experience handling employment issues arising in Mergers & Acquisitions and other corporate transactions
  • Employment litigation experience is a plus
