Role OverviewAs an Employment Litigation Associate at Jackson Lewis P.C., you will defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and provide advice and counsel to employers on labor and employment laws and regulations. You will work in our Chicago location and be part of a team that consistently identifies and responds to new ways workplace law intersects business.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include defending and litigating lawsuits, representing employers in court, and providing advice and counsel on labor and employment laws and regulations. You will also work on a wide range of employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination cases.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a JD from an ABA accredited law school, 5+ years of litigation experience, and excellent academic credentials. You will also need to have strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
