Job Description
The Endocrinology Physicians at Independence Health System provide outpatient evaluation, treatment, and long‐term management of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and hormonal conditions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a medical school accredited by the LCME or ADA, OR Graduate of an AMA‐governed Fifth Pathway program, OR Graduate of an international medical school with valid ECFMG certification.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME‐ or AOA‐accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME‐ or AOA‐accredited Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship program.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership abilities with excellent organizational, independent, and critical‐thinking skills.
  • Sound clinical judgment with comprehensive knowledge of legal, ethical, and liability considerations related to the practice of medicine.
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate complex and potentially sensitive endocrine‐related conditions, treatment options, and care plans to a diverse outpatient population.
