Job Description
Microsoft's Energy Resource Manager (ERM) team focuses on optimizing infrastructure, Power Harvesting, and data center capacity through a combination of physical and digital strategies. The role involves collaborating with Electrical Engineers and Field Service Engineers, utilizing Infrastructure Utilization Effectiveness (IUE) to maximize available capacity, and supporting the modernization of legacy datacenters. This is an opportunity to drive innovation and contribute to Microsoft's cloud services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in IT equipment/technology, or related IT deployment projects in large-scale
  • 2+ years’ experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, PDUs, Generators)
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
