Job Description
Textron Aviation has a job opening for an Engineer - Structural Repair. The successful candidate will develop structural repair instructions, conduct substantiation analyses, and provide technical support to service centers and customers. The role is based in Kansas and requires a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements

  • Develop structural repair instructions, installation procedures, and engineering drawings
  • Conduct substantiation analyses to support certification, safety, and continued airworthiness of Textron Aviation's aircraft
  • Provide technical support to service centers, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams
  • Manage multiple repair requests concurrently while meeting schedule expectations
  • Collaborate with Customers, Customer Service, and Service Centers to support troubleshooting and field repairs
  • Perform structural analyses, including evaluation of load paths, strength, durability, and compliance with design criteria and certification requirements
