Job Description
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Field Engineer 3 to support the MQ-4C Triton Program. The selected candidate will provide real-time support to flight operations and maintenance, address issues related to communications and payloads, and coordinate work with site leadership. The position requires a Top Secret clearance and 6+ months of training in San Diego, CA, with travel to other US locations. The selected candidate will work full-time, on-site at the designated facility with no remote work available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline
  • 5-8 years of related engineering experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II compliant certification
  • Competence in Linux, troubleshooting, engineering documents, tools, and equipment
  • Familiarity with payloads operations and/or comms/networking operations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain program access (SAP/PAR)
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
