Job Description
Southwest Power Pool is looking for a Engineer I - Intermediate Planning to assist in building and updating planning models, running simulations, and supporting the Intermediate Planning processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a calculus-based engineering field and strong interpersonal and team work skills.

Requirements

  • Batchelor's of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Degree in a calculus-based engineering field such as: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering
  • Competent with the administrative and communication tools for word processing, spreadsheet development and time keeping
  • Strong inter-personal and team work skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent working skills with communication and data handling software such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
