Job Description
ABS Government Engineering Services (GES) is looking for a Senior Engineer I to assist with ship Electrical and Automation system drawing reviews. The person will conduct engineering design reviews and analysis assignments involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects for US Government Navy, MARAD projects. Project work and assignments may be broad in nature requiring ingenuity and cross functional coordination.

Requirements

  • Performs detailed engineering review of plans assigned for compliance with applicable Rules, Regulations, and contract commitments.
  • Drafts technically accurate and timely reports, and responses to client letters, and other forms of communication for review by an experienced engineer or engineering manager.
  • Prepare accurate and timely weekly reports and billing on all work performed.
  • Communicate the status of the current workload to all appropriate members of the team to ensure the needs of the clients will be met.
