Job Description
The NYC Department of Design and Construction is seeking an Engineer-in-Charge to join the Construction’s Bronx/North Queens – Section 2 team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting constructability review meetings, ensuring project information is compiled accurately, and providing information to various teams during construction.

Requirements

  • Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization
  • Five years of full-time satisfactory experience managing and/or inspecting one or more construction projects with a total cost of at least $300,000
  • ACI Concrete Field -Testing and OSHA 10-hour Certified or take the first available DDC - offered training session
  • Valid motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and project management skills
