Job Description
The NYC Department of Design and Construction is seeking an Engineer-in-Charge to join our Construction's Bronx/North Queens – Section 2 team. The successful candidate will report to a Deputy Director and will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of Resident Engineers, Office Engineers, Inspectors, and Junior Engineers. They will also conduct constructability review meetings, inspect contracted work, and provide information to various teams during construction stages.

Requirements

  • ACI Concrete Field -Testing and OSHA 10-hour Certified
  • One year of full-time satisfactory experience in supervising employees performing project management work
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, landscape architecture, or related field
  • Valid New York State license as a Professional Engineer, Registered Architect or Registered Landscape Architect
