Role OverviewThis position is responsible for delivering functional fresh meats processing designs and execution that achieve business, financial, and strategic capital objectives. With over 240 facilities, Tyson Foods requires a robust engineering organization with state-of-the-art technology utilizing a continuous improvement mindset.
What You Will Do
Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to, creating/reviewing design drawings, scheduling and leading meetings with stakeholders and support members, traveling to job sites to review project progress, developing and updating project schedules, delegating tasks to project stakeholders, reviewing/revising contracts, traveling for equipment factory acceptance tests (FATs), submitting/tracking purchase requisitions, and budget tracking.

Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering or equivalent engineering experience
- 7+ years' applicable engineering experience in the food industry
- Knowledge of and experience with the business processes related to beef manufacturing preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, SAP, Procore, Anaplan
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Visio a plus
