Job Description

Job Title:  Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
*  Lead project team,
subcontractors, and owner’s representatives to ensure efficient systems
installation using platforms including Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam Studio,
and Airtable.
*  Prepare and manage
contract items for components/materials, ensuring ROJ date compliance
through Airtable, Excel, and trade communications.
*  Evaluate and
process RFIs using Procore/Bluebeam, ensuring timely resolution and
effective communication with project stakeholders.
*  Participate in
schedule update meetings to resolve mechanical and electrical system
conflicts with site logistics and schedules through "Make Work
Ready" and 6-week lookahead meetings, reviewing submittals, RFIs, and
constraint logs to provide accurate scheduling data.
*  Manage project
budget, negotiate change orders, and track subcontractor financials using
SAP, Airtable, Microsoft tools and change order meetings.
*  Co-lead MEP
coordination with the VDC Engineer& superintendent, ensuring
installations comply with design, quality standards, and operational
requirements via VDC tools and contract document.
*  Prepare and
communicate detailed Scope of Work (SOW) documents, outlining
responsibilities and scopes for trade partners.
*  Oversee the
turnover process, including start-up, testing, commissioning, and
closeout, ensuring smooth project completion with Compass software.
*  Conduct regular
project walkthroughs with team, ensuring installations meet contract
specifications, coordination drawings, and approved submittals using
Procore
*  Identify complex
installation requirements early and communicate them for proper planning
via project platforms like Procore and Bluebeam.
*  Verify and manage
Payapp submissions by trade partners to facilitate accurate submission of
monthly bills
*  Implement a
quality control plan with the MEP Superintendent using Procore, ensuring
adherence to standards.
*  Oversee the
closeout process, including RFIs, warranties, as-builts, and O&M
manuals, using Procore, and generate labor, safety, and change order
reports using real-time dashboards.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical &
Electronics Engineering and 2 years of experience in job offered or 2 years of
experience in the Related Occupation

*  Developed and maintained project scopes, project schedules, work hours and budgets.
*  Assisted in coordinating mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) work with the team to make sure installations followed the project plans and quality standards using BIM coordination.
*  Prepared and communicated detailed Scope of Work (SOW) documents, outlined responsibilities and scopes for trade partners.
*  Oversaw the start-up and testing for different equipment in the project.
*  Conducted regular project walkthroughs with team, ensured installations met contract specifications, coordination drawings, and approved submittals.
*  Conducted pre install meeting with designers and sub contractors to make sure that complex installations are discussed in detail.
*  Assisted in quality control checks for MEP systems to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
*  Implemented a quality control plan with the MEP Superintendent using Procore, ensured adherence to standards.
*  Oversaw the closeout process, including RFIs, warranties, as-builts, and O&M manuals, using Procore, and generated labor, safety, and change order reports using real-time dashboards.
