Job Description
The ENGINEER MECHANICAL 3 position performs Supplier Quality oversight of suppliers, with particular emphasis on suppliers of Mechanical commodities (Pumps & Machinery). The role includes interfacing with suppliers, auditing/assessing their Quality Management System, and training/developing suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 5 years of relevant exempt experience
  • Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ph.D. and 0 years of experience
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably including Quality Engineering
  • Lean and Six Sigma training/certification
  • Technical writing and customer relations skills
