Job Description
Provide engineering and compliance support to MISO's Power System control room Balancing and Dispatch functions. Ensure reliable and good quality output from Balancing and Dispatch-related Energy Management System (EMS) and Day Ahead and Real-Time Energy and Ancillary Services Market (DART) advanced application systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in an electrical engineer occupation or related occupation
  • 2 years of experience with power system and market operation, planning, modeling, and system analysis
  • 2 years of experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
  • 2 years of experience with electric power markets
  • 2 years of experience with energy management system applications
  • 2 years of experience with Automatic Generation Control (AGC)
  • 2 years of experience with Python and C/C++
