Job Description
Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company seeking a Connectivity CTO / Principal Solutions Architect to lead comprehensive telecom initiatives for Tier 1 operators. The role involves developing and presenting solutions to technical stakeholders, delivering service offerings to clients, and creating solutions that meet their needs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of various COTS solutions within OSS domains, proficiency in Cloud RAN, transport, and core network technologies, and hands-on expertise in end-to-end OSS solution architecture. The role requires collaboration with business and technology leaders at major Tier 1 mobile operators to advance their Autonomous Networks initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of various COTS solutions within OSS domains.
  • Proficient knowledge of Cloud RAN, transport, and core network technologies.
  • Hands-on expertise in end-to-end OSS solution architecture, covering service fulfillment and assurance.
  • Experience with Java, REST API development within cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with distributed database technologies.
  • Competency with open-source platforms including ONOS, ODL, and OSM.
  • Experience in developing microservice-based applications.
  • Proven capability in building RESTful APIs on J2EE frameworks operating as microservices on Kubernetes and Docker containers.
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and NetOps practices.
  • Experience with Netconf/YANG and TMF SID data modeling.
  • Understanding of cloud orchestrator tools, MANO, network slicing, NFVI, OpenStack, RedHat OSP, SDN controllers, service orchestration, and TOSCA.
  • Advanced proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
