Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the work of assigned professional, technical, and clerical employees and consultants in the planning, design, and/or management of complex, multi-disciplined Capital and Operations facility/asset projects involving the Authority’s water distribution system, water treatment plant, storage, and pumping facilities.

What You Will Do

Manage the design and execution of Capital and Operations projects, including directing internal teams and external consultants. Prepare and review RFPs, bid documents, contracts, and related materials. Provide technical support and mentorship to peers, junior engineers, and technicians.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a design or construction focus, with experience managing projects greater than $5 Million. They will be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, associates, outside agencies, and the public.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution or a closely related field.
  • Seven (7) years of progressive experience with at least four (4) years of experience as a design engineer on major water infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Professional Engineering License in Civil Engineering or related field issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is preferred.
