Role OverviewThe Engineering and Maintenance Development Manager will lead the improvement of the people and processes in the Engineering and Maintenance Departments in East Alton to advance the execution of the department's mission of championing a reliability culture. This role will be responsible for developing and deploying Asset Management and Reliability Strategies, defining and implementing standard work, and developing training opportunities to close skill gaps.
What You Will Do
Coordinate with Site Engineering and Maintenance Lead, Maintenance Managers, and Engineering Managers to develop and deploy Asset Management and Reliability Strategies. Define and implement standard work within the maintenance function. Develop training opportunities to close skill gaps and develop a road map for East Alton engineers to develop the skills to be a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP).

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 7-10 years of managerial experience. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 7-10 years of managerial experience
- Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Reliability tools such as Pareto analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
- CMMS experience
- SAP experience
- Experience in a union environment implementing change initiatives
