Job Description
Join our team and help shape the future of Texas!! TxDOT's Childress District is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Graduate for our Engineering Assistant - I position based in Childress, TX. In this position, you will perform engineering work that involves job rotation, training and continuing education in design, construction, construction inspection, maintenance, surveying, environmental and/or transportation operations related activities with the intent to actively pursue engineering licensing/registration through appropriate training and exams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related science bachelor's or higher degree accepted by TX PELS
  • Valid driver’s license
  • TX Engineer In Training Certificate (for Engineering Assistant II and III)
  • Pass the FE (for preferred qualifications)
