Role OverviewThe Engineering Compliance and Standards Intern will work directly with the SJIU, Utility Shared Services Team, supporting various projects and tasks, including reviewing current standards and recommending changes.
What You Will Do
The intern will assist in the review of new materials and tools proposed for the company, participate in business and functional meetings, and assist in performing field audits and inspections.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with a graduation date of Fall 2026 or later
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize and organize work in a multi-tasked environment
