Role OverviewThis role is a hybrid position that requires working on-site at the Warren Tech Center at least three days per week. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing chassis wiring harness and braking systems for General Motors. The team creates vehicles and experiences that go beyond transportation, delivering safety, intelligence, and connectivity at scale.
What You Will Do
Design responsibilities include creating detailed routed designs for Wheel Speed Sensor, Motor on Caliper Park Brake, and Electro-mechanical Brake Caliper Jumper Harness. The candidate will also generate dynamic Harness & Jounce Hose representations using NX/Flexpipe and complete thorough clearance analysis and optimize Harness and Hose Designs.

Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in CAD / engineering design (automotive or mechanical systems)

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience
