Role OverviewThe Engineering Intern will be an integral part of the operations, responsible for identifying and driving solutions to improve performance and operational costs. They will plan, design, and implement equipment, machinery, and automation, collaborating with other plant resources to create safe, stable, and reliable manufacturing processes and systems.
What You Will Do
The Engineering Intern will lead or support technical work, maintain an in-depth understanding of plant infrastructure, systems, and equipment, and consistently reduce operational waste and costs. They will also exercise and advance Lean Manufacturing practices, provide reliable technical support, and perform in-depth analyses to understand system gaps and issues.

The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, have project management experience, and excellent communication skills. Preferred experience includes Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, coding, and programming, as well as experience with hand and power tools.
Requirements
- Pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Plastics, Manufacturing or equivalent)
- Project management experience, including project management tools and software.
- Excellent communicator (verbal & written) and an ability to summarize and communicate information clearly.
- Preferred: Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma
- Preferred: Experience with coding and programming
- Preferred: Experience with hand and power tools
