Job Description
Klaviyo is seeking an Engineering Manager - Data Automation to lead the Data Automation team and build systems that help operate our mission critical analytics infrastructure. The team operates a real-time data analytics platform written primarily in Python on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Requirements
BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of software engineering experience in a DevOps environment with specific experience in data processing systems
3+ years of people management experience
Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating reliable, fault-tolerant, and high performance distributed systems
Ability to handle yourself in outage situations and to drive failures to root cause analysis and prevention of future issues
Experience writing code using best practices in a language such as Python, Ruby, Go, etc.
Proven ability to come up to speed quickly
