Job Description
At Klaviyo, we're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Data Governance team. The successful candidate will have experience in data processing systems, people management, and AI. They will be responsible for building and managing a team of engineers to fulfill the data governance and management vision and roadmap.

Requirements

  • BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of software engineering in a DevOps environment with specific experience in data processing systems
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Experience writing code using best practices in a language such as Python, Ruby, Go, etc.
  • Experience designing, building, and operating reliable, fault-tolerant, and high performance distributed systems
  • Experience working with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or similar regulatory frameworks
