Role Overview

This Engineering Manager 2 position is responsible for supervising a team that focuses on the installation and maintenance of the Reactor I&C Systems equipment and all associated shipboard cabling, on VCS Class subs. The manager will be responsible for ensuring that all Reactor I&C equipment is installed in accordance with all installation standards, specifications, procedures, and methods as well as addressing risks associated with obsolescence issues.

What You Will Do

The manager will be responsible for the review and issuance of all TWDs for Reactor I&C including SCNIs, SCNPs, ERs, and Trouble Records. The manager will also interact and support multiple trades personnel, ensuring the group provides continuous deck plate technical support across all Reactor I&C electrical issues during the construction and testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design
  • Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience
