Job Description
As an Engineering Manager II at Clearwater Paper in Lewiston, ID, you will provide leadership and guidance to the engineering staff, manage site capital deployment strategy, and ensure adequate tracking and reporting controls are in place. You will also lead troubleshooting efforts, champion Clearwater Paper Core Values, and develop close coordination with maintenance to achieve site reliability and project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in paper mill maintenance, engineering, production management required
  • 2+ years’ experience in project management required
  • Functional understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance programs, work order systems and world-class maintenance systems is desired
  • Previous experience using a Computer Maintenance Management system preferred (e.g. JD Edwards)
  • Must possess analytical troubleshooting skills
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the ability to read, understand, and modify or develop project technical documentation across all technical disciplines
  • Knowledge of a variety of project contracting strategies
  • Continuous improvement/lean manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to foster Continuous Improvement
